Andrea Sookhoo

Andrea Sookhoo is an accomplished event marketing professional with extensive experience in managing and coordinating various marketing and event initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Event Marketing at Lexia Learning since March 2022, Andrea previously held roles such as Event Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator for User Engagement at McGraw Hill from June 2015 to December 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing the Student Ambassador Program to enhance brand effectiveness. Earlier experience includes a decade at Sheridan College, where Andrea worked in roles such as Conference and Event Services, Student Recruitment Advisor, Program Specialist, and Co-operative Education Liaison, contributing significantly to event coordination and student development. Andrea Sookhoo holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Business Communication from York University and a Diploma in General Arts and Sciences from Sheridan College.
