Julie Russ Harris has an extensive background in literacy and language curriculum development, currently serving as the Director of Literacy and Language Curriculum at Lexia Learning since April 2017. Prior roles within Lexia Learning include Director and Manager of Elementary Literacy Curriculum, as well as Curriculum Specialist. Prior to this, Julie held the position of Research Manager at the Harvard Graduate School of Education's Language Diversity and Literacy Development Research Group from July 2009 to April 2017. Early career experience includes roles as an Elementary School Teacher in Newark Public Schools and an Assistant Teacher in Cambridge Public Schools. Julie holds a Master of Education in language and literacy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University.
