Mehrad Sarmashghi

Mehrad Sarmashghi has worked as a Data Scientist at Lexical Intelligence since November 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Boston University, including Research Data Scientist, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Researcher, starting in 2016. Mehrad also worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Sharif University of Technology from 2014 to 2015.

Mehrad Sarmashghi completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Mehrad then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Systems Engineering from Boston University, which they completed from 2016 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Mehrad has obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Mehrad completed the "Natural Language Processing with Probabilistic Models" certification from Coursera in March 2023, followed by the "Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces" certification from the same institution in December 2022.

Furthermore, Mehrad Sarmashghi completed "The Data Science Course 2021: Complete Data Science Bootcamp" certification from Udemy in July 2021. Mehrad also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "SQL Essential Training" and "Tableau Essential Training" in May 2020, as well as "Integrating Tableau and R for Data Science" in April 2020.
