Travis Barnard

Travis Barnard has a diverse work experience in scientific research and analysis. Travis started their career as a Postdoctoral Trainee and later became a Research Fellow at the Genetics and Biochemistry Branch of the National Institutes of Health. In 2008, they joined the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, also at the National Institutes of Health, as a Staff Scientist. After eight years, they transitioned to the University of California, San Francisco, where they worked as a Specialist for three years. Currently, Travis is employed at Lexical Intelligence as a Science Analyst, a position they have held since 2020.

Travis Barnard completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, from the year 1991 to 1995. Travis then pursued further education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, from the year 1995 to 2003.
