Mia Williams is currently working as Coordinator Epidemiologist at Lexington-Fayette County Health Department. Before that, Mia was a Graduate Student at the University of Kentucky majoring in health behavior. Mia also studied biology, specifically microbiology, during their time at Cornell University. In terms of education, Mia holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Behavior from the University of Kentucky, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law (JD) with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Northern Kentucky University. Mia has a particular interest in rural health disparities.
