In this role, April oversees claims for over 8,000 employees under a self-insurance program and coordinates Excess Insurance and Buffer policies along with Third Party Administrator services. Prior to this position, April worked as a Paralegal at Atkins Law Firm, P.A., managing claimant files and coordinating benefits, and as a Workers' Comp Specialist/Legal Assistant at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, where April managed workers’ compensation and employment files. April holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Amberton University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Walden University.
