Beth Shealy

Beth Shealy, PAHM, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Managed Care & Utilization Management at Lexington Medical Center, a position held since November 2008, where leadership and strategic vision are provided to the Managed Care and Utilization Management Departments. Previously, Beth held the role of Director of Managed Care and Payer Relations, focusing on department functions such as underpayment review and payer audits, and served as Manager of Managed Care & Payer Relations, overseeing daily operations and ensuring contract compliance. Prior experience includes working at BlueCross BlueShield of SC as Supervisor of Appeals and Quality Management and as Quality Improvement Coordinator. In addition to healthcare experience, Beth served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Limestone College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Statistics from the University of South Carolina - Honors College.
