Craig Smith is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical education and leadership development. Currently serving as the Professional Clinical Practice Manager at Lexington Medical Center since October 2022, Craig focuses on nurturing future clinical leaders. Previous roles include Director of Education at Kingman Regional Medical Center and Kingwood Medical Center, as well as similar positions at East Cooper Medical Center and Providence Hospitals, where responsibilities included overseeing clinical education and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Craig has a background as a Clinical Instructor at the University of South Carolina and began their career as an RN in the ICU at Lexington Medical Center. Craig holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Informatics from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
