Michael Womack began their work experience as a Patient Account Manager at Cape Fear Valley Health System in December 1999. Michael managed receivables and was responsible for patient accounting functions, billing, collections, and customer service. In August 2012, they joined Lexington Medical Center as an Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services. In this role, they oversaw back-end revenue cycle functions, including patient accounting, cash posting, collections, and customer service. Michael also reviewed and managed processes to increase cash flow and oversee receivables. In July 2017, they were promoted to Director of PFS Hospital Billing at Lexington Medical Center where they continued to excel in their responsibilities.
