Sunshine Cobb has a diverse range of work experience. Since 2017, they have been working at Lexington Medical Center, initially as the Physician Network Operations Director for Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, and currently as the Physician Network Vice President. Prior to that, they worked at Vital Energy Physical and Occupational Therapy as the Practice Operations Manager from 2014 to 2017. In 2013, they were the Practice Manager at Carolina Shoulder and Knee Specialists. Sunshine also gained experience as a Practice Administration Fellow in Physician Network Services at Lexington Medical Center from 2012 to 2013. In addition, they served as a Graduate Assistant at Columbia Cardiology Consultants from 2010 to 2012. Their earlier work experience includes being a Personal Touch Volunteer at Palmetto Health in 2009 and an Office Assistant at Darla Moore School of Business from 2009 to 2010.

Sunshine Cobb obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Administration at the University of South Carolina from 2010 to 2012.
