Tak Cheung has worked for several companies since 2005. Tak began their career at Advanced Medical Optics as a Corporate Development Manager. In 2008, they moved to Edwards Lifesciences as a Director of Business Development. In 2013, they started working at Bausch + Lomb as a Vice President of Business Development, and also co-founded Lexington Medical, Inc. In 2016, they became a Venture Partner at Merieux Development Venture Fund, and in 2017 they were appointed a Board Observer at Ivantis, Inc. Currently, Tak Cheung is a Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA).
Tak Cheung completed their education history with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from UC Irvine in 2002. Tak obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech in 1998. Tak Cheung's education began with Troy High School.
