Russell Bennett

Russell Bennett is a seasoned professional in the cannabis legal industry, currently serving as a Mediator at the Canadian Cannabis Dispute Resolution Centre since October 2022. In addition to providing mediation services, Russell has held roles as a Cannabis Lawyer and Mediator since April 2018, assisting businesses and entrepreneurs in navigating the cannabis sector. As an author with LexisNexis Canada Inc., Russell contributed to the third edition of Canada's Cannabis Act: Annotation & Commentary, released in August 2021. Through the podcast Cannabis Law in Canada, Russell engages with industry experts to discuss the implications of cannabis legalization. Russell's prior experience includes serving as the Chief Legal Officer for LAF Society Inc., practicing law at Bennett & Company, and roles at CEO Law and Investigation Counsel Professional Corporation. Russell holds a law degree from the University of Windsor and has diversified education in various fields, including biology and entertainment administration.
