Melanie McLeod

Melanie McLeod is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in both corporate tax management and education. Currently serving as an Apprentice Coach/Mentor at LexisNexis UK since November 2023, Melanie previously held the position of Head of Tax & Customs at Tata Steel UK from March 2022 to November 2023. A significant portion of Melanie's career was spent at Tata Steel Europe and Tata Steel, where roles included UK Tax Manager and Senior Tax Manager. Prior to these positions, Melanie was a Senior Manager in Corporate Tax at Deloitte UK from 2004 to June 2012, following a tenure as a Tax and Audit Lecturer at FTC Kaplan. Melanie began the professional journey as an Assistant Manager at PwC, gaining valuable experience with a diverse client base. Holding a degree in Law and Criminology from The University of Sheffield, achieved with a 2:1 classification, Melanie is also a qualified ACA and CIOT professional.
