Eveline Kiela is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and research. Currently serving as a researcher at Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing since March 2022, Eveline previously held the position of junior researcher at Van Kleef Instituut from September 2021 to August 2022. Prior to this, Eveline worked at Stichting Georganiseerde eerstelijnszorg Zoetermeer from January 2018 to May 2022 as a practice nurse in elderly care, contributing to the development of the role and implementing community-based preventive policies in collaboration with local authorities. Eveline's earlier experience includes roles as a public health nurse at GGD Haaglanden, where topics of sexual health were addressed, and as a district nurse at Pieter van Foreest, focusing on home care coordination. Eveline holds a Master of Arts in Care Ethics and Policy from the University of Humanistic Studies, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, complemented by a pre-master in Care Ethics and Policy.
