Marianne de Visser is an experienced professional in the healthcare and research sectors, serving in various leadership roles. Currently, Marianne is a member of the Supervisory Board at UMC Utrecht and the Centre for Human Drug Research, as well as a board member at The Netherlands Commission on Genetic Modification (COGEM). Additionally, Marianne holds the position of chair at both VSCA (Vereniging Samenwerkingsverband Chronische Ademhalingsondersteuning) and the Advisory Board for Science and Innovation at Hersenstichting. Marianne de Visser earned an MD and PhD from the University of Amsterdam, completing studies at the Academisch Ziekenhuis bij de Universiteit van Amsterdam from 1968 to 1975.
