Marianne Tijssen

Marianne Tijssen has extensive experience in leadership and supervisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Non Executive Board Member at ORTEC and Vice Chairman of Vereniging Aegon, Marianne also holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing since December 2022. Previously, Marianne was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at N.V. Unive Schade/Marianne's and a member of the Supervisory Board at Univé from January 2014 to April 2023. As a co-founder and former COO/CFO of five°degrees, Marianne contributed to innovative approaches within the financial industry. The career includes a significant tenure at ABN AMRO, where Marianne served as CEO of AAInterfinance and held various executive vice president roles, responsible for sales, product development, and efficiency improvements. Marianne Tijssen holds a law degree from Leiden University, earned between 1975 and 1981.
