Menno van Lummel, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Menno is currently working at Leyden Labs as a Scientist (Pre) Clinical Assay Development in Pharmaceutical Development since December 2021. From January 2019 to December 2021, they worked as a Senior scientist at Gadeta. Prior to that, they were a Scientist at DCprime bv from August 2016 to December 2018.
Menno van Lummel started their career as a PhD student at UMC Utrecht in 2002 and completed their doctoral studies in 2006. Menno then worked at Sanquin Bloedvoorziening as Head of Department (in training), erythrocyte laboratory from August 2007 to August 2008. Following that, they joined Leiden University Medical Center as a postdoctoral fellow in the Diabetes section of the Department of Immunohematology and Bloodtransfusion. Menno worked on a project in collaboration with Prof. Bart Roep and Prof. until August 2016.
Menno van Lummel, Ph.D. began their education at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Clinical Chemistry. Following this, they attended Universiteit Leiden from 2001 to 2002, specializing in Biology.
