Kendra Toliver, LCSW, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Outpatient Therapist at Leyden Family Service & Mental Health Center since December 2018. Kendra's prior experience includes internships at Sarah's Inn and Chicago Youth Centers, and a role as a Senior Mental Health Worker at Heartland Alliance, where comprehensive psycho-social assessments and therapeutic relationships with individuals and families were developed. Kendra's background also includes positions as a Child Care Worker at Lutheran Child and Family Services and a SASS Screener/Engagement Specialist at Ben Gordon Center, focusing on crisis intervention and engaging difficult clients. Kendra holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University.

Leyden Family Services provides a variety of counseling, treatment, and preventative services for children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens, and families. Furthermore, our services extend to people with many different types of needs. We support people who are suffering from temporary disruptions in their lives due to life changes, stresses, and traumas. We treat individuals with alcohol, substance abuse, and/or gambling problems. Our staff serves clients with serious and persistent mental illness as well as those having difficulties associated with aging. Leyden Family Services also provides community education targeted toward life enhancement.
