Brian Loker

Brian Loker is a legal professional with extensive experience in patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in electrical engineering, computer science, and electro-mechanical systems. Currently serving as a Partner at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd. since January 2019 and as Of Counsel at Dickinson Wright PLLC since April 2018, Brian has previously held positions as a Patent Attorney at Downey Brand LLP and Zilka-Kotab PC. Brian's early career included roles as a Mechanical Engineer with experience in power electronics, defense systems, and automation, alongside an electrical engineering background where design and programming of control systems were primary responsibilities. Brian earned a JD in Intellectual Property from DePaul University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
