Brian Rupp

Brian Rupp is an experienced intellectual property strategist currently serving as Of Counsel at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd. since January 2022, where responsibilities include IP procurement, clearance, portfolio analysis, development, licensing, and litigation across various technologies. Rupp has held significant positions as a Partner at Faegre Drinker from February 2020 to December 2021 and at Drinker Biddle & Reath from January 2007 to January 2020, specializing in patent strategy, procurement, litigation, and licensing in electrical and software technologies. Rupp's career began with Gardner Carton Douglas LLP from 1990 to January 2007 and included a role as Patent Counsel at Samsung SDI from 1995 to 1999. Rupp holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University, and a BS in Physics from DePaul University.
