David Edgar

David E. currently serves as Head of Retail Operations at Leyland SDM since February 2022. Previously, David held the role of Own Retail UK, Ireland & Nordic Manager at Villeroy & Boch from June 2016 to February 2022, where responsibilities included managing retail locations and enhancing profitability. Notable achievements include delivering a 35% increase in sales over two years, developing a new KPI structure, and overseeing new store openings. David's career began in retail at Robert Dyas in 1997, progressing through various roles, including District Project Manager, Senior Store Manager, and Store Manager, ultimately being recognized as a finalist in the Retail Week Rising Star Awards in 2015. David's educational background includes a degree in Retail Management from the Oxford Summer School Retail Academy and a GNVQ Level 3 in Business Studies from Bexley College.
