Jessica Wood has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at Sandals Resorts in 2012. Jessica then worked as a Food and Beverage Management Trainee at Hilton Hotels & Resorts in 2015, followed by roles as a Groups, Conference and Events Coordinator, and later as a Groups, Conference and Events Executive at Conrad Hotels & Resorts from 2016 to 2017. Jessica then joined Marriott International as a Multi-Property Sales Executive in 2017, and later moved to Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi, where they worked as an Assistant Sales Manager in the Events Booking Centre from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island, first as a Sales Manager in the Events Booking Centre, then as a Senior Sales Manager, and finally as an Assistant Director of Sales, with a main focus on events such as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the International Indian Film Academy Awards. In 2023, they started working as the Director of Sales at Leylaty Group.
Jessica Wood completed their BA in Hospitality Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained Cambridge O and A level Diplomas from Chispite Senior School Harare Zimbabwe.
