Ofer Hermoni

Ofer Hermoni has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Notably, they are currently the Co-Founder, CTO, and CPO of PieEye INC. In this role, they led a team of 20 in R&D, Product, Customer Success, and Business Development, implementing processes that improved efficiency and reduced onboarding time. Ofer also transformed the company's focus from sales-led-growth to product-led-growth and changed the GTM strategy to strategic partnerships, resulting in increased integrations.

Additionally, Ofer co-founded and advised LF AI & Data Foundation, where they served as Chairman of the Technical Advisory Council and Governing Board Member. Ofer also worked as a Member of the Board of Advisors for apprentAI.

As a startup consultant under their own name, Ofer has provided guidance and expert advice to numerous entrepreneurs in areas such as Product Development, GTM Strategies, Intellectual Property, AI, Business Development, Fundraising, Open Source, and Team Building.

Prior to these roles, Ofer played key roles in other organizations such as SYBARIP, where they co-founded the company, secured fundraising, and grew the customer base. Ofer also worked at Amdocs, leading product strategy initiatives and building a new business segment.

Ofer's earlier experience includes roles as an academic technology lecturer and Israeli Air Force trainer at Ben Gurion University, a researcher and project manager at VERISIGN, a product marketing consultant at ComSight Consulting, and a researcher at Telecom Innovation Labs - Deutsche Telekom Center at BGU.

Ofer Hermoni earned their Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2012. Before that, they completed their M.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from the same university from 2005 to 2007. Ofer's undergraduate studies were also done at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued a degree in Communication Systems Engineering from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ofer obtained a certification in ISSIP Excellence in Service Innovation (Level 2) - Distinguished Recognition from the International Society of Service Innovation Professionals in April 2022.
