Daniel Bonzo has a diverse work experience in the field of biostatistics and data management. Daniel has held various senior leadership roles in different companies, including LFB, HeartWare Inc, PAREXEL, XenoPort, Altus Pharmaceuticals, Merck Serono, and Purdue Pharma LP. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading and managing biostatistics, statistical programming, and data management functions. Daniel has also provided strategic direction, resource planning, and budget management for these departments. Daniel has extensive experience in representing their departments in cross-functional teams and has worked on various therapeutic areas, including pain management, neurology, auto-immune diseases, metabolic endocrinology, and oncology. Daniel has also contributed to protocol development, clinical data review, statistical analysis plan implementation, and clinical study report development. Additionally, Daniel has mentored and developed staff and has provided programming support for data analysis and publication. Prior to their leadership roles, they have worked as a technical consultant and SAS practice manager, where they managed statistical and programming consultants and led various project teams.
Daniel Bonzo completed their PhD in Statistics at the University of the Philippines from 1991 to 1993. Daniel also obtained a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Statistics from Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan in 1995.
