Sebastien Merrien

Sebastien Merrien has a strong background in regulatory affairs and compliance. Sebastien is currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance at LFB since February 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Quality and Regulatory Director, Global Plasma at LFB from May 2016 to January 2020. Sebastien also worked as the Pharmaceutical Responsible for Plasma at LFB from December 2013 to April 2016, and as a Regulatory affairs officer at LFB from September 2011 to December 2013.

Before joining LFB, Sebastien worked for Baxter as a Senior Associate Regulatory Affairs from January 2010 to September 2011. Sebastien was responsible for tasks such as registration, labeling, and control of advertising and promotional materials for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Sebastien also provided support to Pricing & Reimbursement and worked on compassionate use initiatives.

Prior to their tenure at Baxter, Sebastien worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2004 to 2010. Sebastien held various roles including Regulatory Compliance Manager, Regulatory Project Manager, and Regulatory Compliance Support.

Sebastien began their career as a Regulatory Affairs Intern at Hoffmann-La Roche in 2004.

Sebastien Merrien completed their education at the Université de Tours. Sebastien obtained a Pharmacist degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1995 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Manufacturing technology, Analytical development & Regulatory from 2003 to 2004.
