Thomas Smith Csp

Thomas Smith has a broad range of experience in environmental health, safety, and security. Thomas has worked for LFB USA as the Senior Director of Environmental Health Safety and Security since 2014. Before that, they were the Director of Environmental Health Safety and Security at rEVO Biologics from 2005 to 2014. Prior to those roles, they served as the Director of Project Development at Genzyme Transgenics Corporation Inc. from 2001 to 2004, where they led various projects and guided the development of environmental health and safety programs. Thomas began their career as a Research Assistant at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine from 1986 to 1993.

Thomas Smith CSP completed their education at San Jose State University. From 1973 to 1976, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology. Afterward, they pursued further studies and acquired a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Biology, General, from the same university, which was completed from 1977 to 1981.

Additionally, Thomas Smith also obtained a certification as a Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in September 2017.
