Günther Ernst

Günther Ernst has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Günther started their career at Hitachi Semiconductor in 1995, where they held various roles, including Group Leader in Etch, Litho, and Defect Engineering, Group Leader in CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing), and Process and Equipment Engineer in Litho. In 2003, they became the Abteilungsleiter/Section Manager for Metallization, Etch, and Litho at Renesas Semiconductor. Günther then moved to Renesas Semiconduction in 2005, where they became the Engineering Manager for Process, Equipment, and Process Integration. In 2008, they joined LFoundry GmbH as the VP of Operation, overseeing Production, Facility, Engineering, and Process Integration. Günther later became the COO, responsible for Chief Operation Officer duties. In 2012, they became the CEO of LFoundry, leading the company as a specialized foundry focused on advanced analogue manufacturing services and customer partnership.

Günther Ernst attended the University of Applied Science and Technology in Regensburg, Germany from 1990 to 1994. Günther pursued a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and successfully completed their studies, earning a Dipl. Ing. degree.
