Adam Scroggin (he/him)

Adam Scroggin (born February 25, 1975) is an American software engineer, electrical engineer, and entrepreneur. He is the owner of LFT Software and CardBoard It and owns a large portion of Software Engineering Professionals (SEP).

After graduating from Center Grove, Scroggin attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering with an emphasis in software engineering and digital signal processing (DSP). Scroggin worked with UNIX on the Engineering Computer Network (ECN), was a research assistant and was a teaching assistant for a transistors class. He later attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis for his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering but did not finish.

Engineering and business career

Scroggin started as an embedded software engineer and worked for Software Engineering Professionals (SEP). He worked in the automotive sector designing and building safety critical systems for Allison Transmission, GM, Lexus and Acura. He later moved into medical devices, healthcare and neuroscience working for Abbott and Hospira. Within 8 years at SEP, Scroggin moved into management and business development.

Scroggin holds four patents with the USPTO. Scroggin has also created several small software companies including TeamWorks, Telescope App and CardBoard It.

In 2022, Scroggin founded a new company LFT Software which holds several subsidiaries. His intent was to build "a different kind of company where ethics matter and employees are treated very well.”

Personal life

In September of 2000, Adam married Kathleen Munson in Lafayette, Indiana. They have two daughters, born in 2003 and 2005. Adam is an avid soccer fan, musician and also skateboards.
