Chang-Yang Lee

Outside Director at LG Display

Chang-Yang Lee is an outside director at LG Display. Chang-Yang was previously a staff engineer at Seagate Technology from July 2013 to January 2017, working in tribology and MEMS. Before that, they were a post-doc and full-time engineer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from February 2003 to June 2013, working in tribology and MEMS. Chang-Yang also worked as a student researcher and engineer at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology from September 1996 to January 2003, working in tribology. From January 1992 to December 1998, they worked as an engineer at Samsung in materials engineering, surface engineering, and tribology.

Chang Yang-Lee completed their PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Yonsei University. Chang-Yang also holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from the same institution. In addition, they have a certification from Seagate Technology in Six Sigma Certified Brown Belt.
