Gregory Smith

Gregory Smith is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and energy sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Systems, Validation & Test Labs at LG Energy Solution since November 2019, Gregory previously held various engineering and managerial roles at General Motors from March 2007 to July 2019, where responsibilities included leading the validation of autonomous vehicle technology and managing battery pack development for multiple electric vehicle models. Gregory's earlier experience includes project management in process control at Advanced Controls Solutions and safety engineering at FirstEnergy. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo College of Engineering.
