Byoung-Hoon Kim

Byoung-Hoon Kim has an extensive background in technology and engineering, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at LG Electronics since March 2008. Throughout this tenure, Byoung-Hoon held multiple leadership positions, including oversight of the AI R&D Lab, the ICT Center, and the Future Technology Center, as well as serving as a Senior Vice President and Senior Research Fellow. Prior to joining LG Electronics, Byoung-Hoon gained valuable experience at Qualcomm as a Senior Staff Engineer/Manager and at GCT Semiconductor as a Staff Engineer. Byoung-Hoon Kim holds a combined BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Seoul National University, obtained between 1990 and 2000.
