Mhairi Crawford

Mhairi Crawford serves as the Chief Executive of LGBT Youth Scotland since September 2019, bringing extensive experience in leadership and development roles. Previously, Mhairi held the position of Development Director at the WISE Campaign from June 2016 to August 2019 and worked as Regional Manager (Sales and Service) at Gatan Inc. from November 2011 to June 2016, overseeing operations in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Israel, and South Africa. Prior experience includes roles as Account Manager at Roke Manor Research, managing cyber security accounts, and Product Marketing Manager at Gems Sensors and Controls. Mhairi began a career in product management with Hitachi High Technologies. Mhairi earned a PhD/MSci in Physics from the University of Glasgow between 1996 and 2004.
