Steve McFarland

Steve McFarland currently serves as Chef for Frivillighed og Fællesskaber at LGBT+ Danmark since February 2024. Previously, Steve worked as a Political Consultant for De Anbragtes Vilkår from January 2022 to January 2024, where responsibilities included public affairs and the development of membership strategies. Prior roles include Engagement Manager at CARE Danmark, Organizing and Campaign Coordinator for Enhedslisten, and Interim Executive Director at Medborgerne. Steve's extensive experience also encompasses freelance consulting and significant roles in various organizations focused on community engagement and advocacy in both Denmark and the United States. Steve holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University.
