Frank Downs

Frank Downs, CSP, currently serves as the Manager of Electric Distribution & Transmission Safety at LG&E and KU Energy LLC, a role held since January 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing safety and health compliance across multiple power generation sites. Prior experience includes serving as the Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Johnson Controls Inc, where Frank led the risk management program and ensured compliance with OSHA regulations from August 2012 to January 2013. Additionally, Frank worked as a Kentucky Regional Safety Specialist at Toyota Boshoku America from January 2005 to August 2012, handling OSHA compliance and other safety-related matters for various manufacturing locations. Frank holds a Master of Science in Safety, Security, and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Management from Sullivan University.
