Sonja Laud

Sonja Laud (Schemmann) is an accomplished financial professional currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) since January 2019. Prior to this role, Sonja was Head of Equity at Fidelity International from June 2017 to December 2018, overseeing various equity investment teams. Sonja has significant experience in fund management, having worked at Barings as Fund Manager for Multi Asset Global Income, managing two Global Multi Asset Funds and participating as a voting member of the Strategic Policy Group. Previous positions include Fund Manager for Global Equities at Schroders and DWS Investments, managing substantial assets across global equity funds. Sonja holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from TRIUM Global Executive MBA, is a CFA Charterholder, and has a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting and Finance from ESCP Business School.
