Melissa Ruffel, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in client strategy and portfolio management. Currently serving as Senior Client Strategist at LGIM America since January 2019, Melissa has held various roles within the firm, including Client Strategist and Senior Solutions Associate. Prior to this, Melissa worked at NISA Investment Advisors, LLC from September 2013 to January 2019, progressing from Analyst to Senior Analyst in Fixed Income and Derivatives Portfolio Management, as well as in Operations. Early career experience includes an internship at Sard Verbinnen & Co in 2012. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Washington and Lee University, graduating in 2013, and completed secondary education at The Hotchkiss School.
