Mary Capplis

Mary Capplis is an experienced administrative officer currently serving at the Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) since May 2022. With a diverse background in local government, Mary has held various roles, including senior staff officer positions in Louth County Council, where responsibilities encompassed operations, finances, and local services from 2003 to 2022. Mary contributed to cultural initiatives as Acting County Arts Officer and has been a dedicated member of the Oriel Traditional Orchestra since 2018. A strong educational foundation includes a postgraduate diploma in library and information studies from University College Dublin and ongoing studies in multicultural wellness education through Capacitar International. Mary’s extensive volunteer experience further highlights a commitment to community welfare and arts engagement.
