Cindy Dawson

Cindy Dawson currently serves as the Director of Development at the Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) Foundation, focusing on improving the lives of individuals impacted by LGS through research, awareness, education, and family support. Prior to this role, Cindy was the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Cleveland State Community College, where leadership in fundraising programs and event management was provided. Additionally, experience includes serving as the Regional Development Coordinator for The Next Door, Inc., and as Executive Director for Global Women, overseeing global assistance initiatives for underserved women. Earlier in the career, significant work was done with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, establishing humanitarian projects for Russian Romani outreach. Cindy holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Austin Peay State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Religious Education from the University of Mobile.
