Lucia Olson

Lucia Olson, PhD, MFT, is an experienced licensed marriage and family therapist currently serving as an LMFT therapist at LGTC Group and Grow Therapy since May 2023 and January 2023, respectively. Alongside a private practice established in 2020, Lucia has held various clinical roles, including clinical supervisor at Home First and clinical director at Cielo House Comprehensive Eating Disorder Treatment. With a robust background in mental health, Lucia has also worked as an MFT Clinician II at Mental Health Urgent Care Valley Medical Center and as a clinician in the Health and Human Services Agency Calaveras County. In addition to clinical work, Lucia serves as an English instructor at Canada College since 2009, focusing on developmental and transfer-level college writing. Educational qualifications include a PhD in English Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University.
