Andreas Sonka

Andreas Sonka is a highly experienced finance and consulting professional with a diverse background spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors at AHK | Cámara de Comercio e Industria Costarricense Alemana since March 2014, Andreas has significantly enhanced accounting processes through strategic financial reporting and budget development. As a Senior Outplacement and Executive Coach at LHH since March 2010, Andreas provides guidance and support to clients in career transition, working with major multinational corporations such as INTEL and Coca-Cola. Previous roles include Finance and Accounting Manager at Arias & Muñoz, Procurement Manager at Capris S.A., and Chief Accounting, Finance and IT Officer for Bayer in Central America and the Caribbean, overseeing numerous staff and managing substantial operational responsibilities. Andreas holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from the University of Cologne, with a focus on marketing, auditing, and IT.
