George Wu

George Wu is an experienced professional with significant expertise in operations and business development within the technology and recycling sectors. Currently serving as the VP and General Manager at Li-Cycle since January 2022, George focuses on developing lithium-ion battery recycling businesses in Asia. Prior experience includes a role as General Manager at TES, where George specialized in lithium-ion battery recycling and retired EV battery re-purposing. George has held senior leadership positions at AkzoNobel and Sherwin-Williams, managing operations across Asia-Pacific and driving the growth of packaging businesses. With a strong foundation in engineering, George began a career at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies, focusing on product management and process engineering. George holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and multiple advanced degrees in engineering.
