Jens Emrich

Jens Emrich has over 30 years of experience in finance and leadership roles. Jens is currently serving as the Director of Financial Decision Support & Insight - EMEA at Li-Cycle, where they are responsible for establishing the finance organization and providing business support for scaling up innovative technology.

Prior to their current role, Jens was the Finance Director EMEA & Export Markets at Key Surgical, where they led the financial transformation of the company in Europe and built a Finance Excellence organization. Jens has also served as the Managing Director of JEVOLUTION Scale-Up Management, where they provided leadership in strategy development and acted as an advisor and board member for start-ups.

Additionally, Jens has extensive experience with Lorenz, where they held various roles including Managing Director of LBNUTS AG, CFO of Alexander Nut Group, and Board Member of Lorenz Snack-World Egypt. Jens was also involved in managing key client relations, business development, and strategic planning for the company.

Jens began their career at Procter & Gamble, where they worked as a Financial Analyst and gained experience in business management controlling and planning.

Jens Emrich completed a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) degree in Business Management and Administration with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and Taxes from AKAD University between 1994 and 1998. In 2016, they attended the University of Geneva for a course titled "Beyond Corporate Social Responsibility: Leadership for Social Innovation." Jens also completed a General Management program at Malik Management Training from 2014 to 2015. In 2011, they studied Blue Ocean Strategy at INSEAD.
