Thomas Mistretta

Thomas Mistretta is an experienced operations executive with a robust background in the chemical and battery industries. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Li Industries since January 2025, Thomas focuses on enhancing efficiencies in battery sorting and recycling technologies. Prior to this role, Thomas was the Chief Operating Officer at Syzygy Plasmonics, where the emphasis was on sustainable production of high-value molecules through innovative light-driven chemistry. Thomas’s extensive experience includes positions such as VP of Operations at Entegris and Global Manufacturing Director at BASF, alongside a significant tenure in various leadership roles at DuPont. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from Colorado State University.
