Jaakko Pero

Jaakko Pero has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jaakko currently works at Liana Technologies as a Lead DevOps Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Exove as a Team Lead, DevOps Engineer and Systems Engineer, where they handled systems engineering, team leading activities, and sales. Jaakko also has experience working at Aalto University Student Union as a TRINET Administrator, where they were responsible for tasks such as cabling and datacenter management. Additionally, Jaakko has worked at Päiväkoti Petunia as a Board Member, and at Aalto University as a Systems Specialist, Systems Administrator, and IT Assistant. Jaakko has also worked at Assembly Organizing as the Head of Music Compos, at The Student Union of Helsinki University of Technology as a Network Administrator, at IGIOS as a Systems Administrator, and at Open University as a Teacher.

Jaakko Pero has a strong education background in the field of Electronics and Acoustics. Jaakko obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, specializing in Acoustics and Audio Signal Processing, from Aalto University, where they studied from 2002 to 2010. Jaakko further pursued their education at Aalto University and obtained a Master's degree in Electronics and Applications, also specializing in Acoustics and Audio Signal Processing, from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Jaakko Pero has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Jaakko received the "Elements of AI" certification from the University of Helsinki in November 2019. In December 2018, they completed the "Microsoft Virtual Academy DevOps for IT Pros" certification from Microsoft. Prior to that, in December 2016, they obtained the "Internet of Things (IoT)" certification from Microsoft and the "Apple Certified Support Professional 10.11" certification from Apple. Jaakko'searliest certification, the "ITIL V3: Foundation Examination," was obtained in January 2009 from the APM Group.
