Saila Kakko

Saila Kakko has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Saila started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Oulu in 2011. Saila then worked as a Junior International Relations Officer at Malmö University for six months in 2012. In 2013, Saila had a short traineeship at Nokia Networks. Saila then transitioned to the field of technical documentation, working as a Technical Documentation Specialist at Anite from 2014 to 2015 and at Keysight Technologies from 2016 to 2017. Saila then joined Riots Global Ltd. in 2018 as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, where they stayed until December 2021. Their most recent role was as a Project Manager at Liana Technologies, starting in December 2021. Saila has gained valuable experience in project management, marketing, communications, and technical documentation throughout their career.

Saila Kakko holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Philology from the University of Oulu. In 2010, they attended the University of Glasgow, where they studied Arts & Media Informatics and Philosophy. In 2020, Saila furthered their education at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
