Tuomas Lempiäinen

Tuomas Lempiäinen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Tuomas is currently serving as the Head of DevOps at Liana Technologies, where they lead the company-wide DevOps transformation and is responsible for infrastructure management, tooling, and cultural DevOps management. Prior to this, Tuomas worked at Veikkaus Oy as a Technology Manager, where they directed the development of dev teams and acted as a translator between the technical and executive teams. Tuomas also held the roles of Team Lead and Test Manager at Veikkaus, where they focused on quality assurance and managed smaller test teams, including the testing activities during a gambling merger in Finland. Earlier in their career, Tuomas worked at Raha-automaattiyhdistys, RAY, where they served as a Testing Specialist and System Tester, as well as a Maintenance Technician and Casino Dealer.

Tuomas Lempiäinen obtained their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University from 2010 to 2015. In addition, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester, Advanced Test Analyst (CTALTA) certification from the Finnish Software Testing Board FiSTB in April 2015, the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) certification in May 2014, and the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2016.
