Ward Louckx

Ward Louckx has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Ward began their career in 2006 as a Stage Tech at R2Q, where they worked until 2011. In 2013, they joined Telenet as an IT Service Engineer, responsible for monitoring infrastructure and applications, implementing service requests, and resolving incidents and problems. Ward also used their scripting skills to aid in application and infrastructure monitoring. In 2016, Ward transitioned to the role of Change & Configuration Coordinator at Telenet, where they successfully managed infrastructural IT changes and ensured business continuity.

In 2020, Ward joined Liana Technologies as a Junior Software Developer in the Marketing Automation department. During this role, they gained proficiency in various programming languages and technologies, such as PHP, Postgresql, Perl, JavaScript, Docker, and Bash. Ward was involved in feature development, bug fixing, unit testing, and CI/CD processes. In 2021, they advanced to the role of Software Developer, expanding their knowledge in software development and taking on additional responsibilities such as code reviews, feature design, planning, and development environment maintenance. Ward was also appointed as the Backup Team Leader and Technical Product Owner for the Liana Automation development team.

Currently, Ward continues to work at Liana Technologies as a Technical Product Owner, contributing to the company's product development and showcasing their expertise in this domain.

Ward Louckx began their education in 2008 at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Communicationtechnology. Ward completed this program in 2012.

In 2012, Ward enrolled in Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Information Technology in 2013.

After completing their formal education, Ward pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2013, they obtained the CCNA 1-4 certification from Cisco. In 2014, they received the ITIL v3 Foundations certification from B2B Learning and Unix Shell Scripting certification from Realdolmen. Finally, in 2015, Ward completed the Young Grad Program 2013-2015 offered by Telenet.
