Luxin Wang

Luxin Wang has a diverse work experience in the medical and healthcare industry. Luxin is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at LianMedical since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Leader of a medtech startup in stealth stage from September 2022 to April 2023.

Luxin also held various leadership roles at Abbott from 2019 to 2022, including Divisional Vice President, APAC & Japan and Division Vice President, APAC Electrophysiology & Heart Failure.

Before joining Abbott, Luxin worked at Alcon for over a decade. Luxin held positions such as Head APAC Surgical, Country General Manager for Australia & New Zealand, and General Manager for South China and Hong Kong.

Luxin also served as a Board Member at The Alcon Foundation from May 2018 to December 2019.

During their early career, Luxin worked at Biomet as a General Manager for China and as a Consultant.

Luxin Wang received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Machinery from Beijing University of Chemical Technology from 1993 to 1997. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, Luxin pursued a Master's degree in Computational Engineering from Mississippi State University. Finally, Luxin completed an MBA in Business Administration from Purdue University from 2003 to 2005.
