Andrew Barefield

Andrew Barefield, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andrew is currently the Director of R&D - Enterprise DevOps Engineering at Liatrio since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CGI from 2014 to 2022, where they held various positions such as Director of Consulting Delivery, DevOps Engineering, and Manager of Consulting Delivery, DevOps Engineering. Andrew led multiple teams and projects, streamlined functions related to application configuration automation and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and collaborated with product management and solution architectures. Andrew also worked as a Senior Consultant at CGI, where they facilitated federal and internal clients as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. Before joining CGI, Andrew worked at INC Research as a Project Specialist II, where they were responsible for planning and organizing projects. Andrew also had a role as a General Manager at Bose Corporation, where they managed product launches and conducted audits. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of achieving notable accomplishments.

Andrew Barefield, PMP has a background in computer science, having studied at the University of Colorado Boulder. Andrew later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology at the University of Phoenix. Andrew has also obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 4 Advanced Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2018. Additionally, they hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
