Alfonso Rocha has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alfonso started their career as a Web Developer at the Mexican Embassy in Madrid in 2009. Following this, they joined Tuenti, a social network, as a Growth + Monetization Product Manager. At Tuenti, they contributed to the development of multiple digital products and advertising formats. In 2012, Alfonso co-founded imixme and served as the CEO/Product Manager, overseeing the design and development of the entire product and service. Alfonso then joined Fon as a Mobile Apps Product Manager, where they led the Mobile Apps team and redesigned the hardware apps. Alfonso also co-founded Wegow, where they served as Co-founder & Product Manager, managing remote teams and building the in-house tech team. Continuing their journey, they worked at Cabify, a ride-hailing application, as a Senior Product Manager, where they rebuilt the Android and iOS applications and collaborated with non-tech teams to meet business requirements. Alfonso then joined Bitcoin.com as a Senior Product Manager, managing the Bitcoin.com Wallet app and contributing to the company's revenue. Alfonso later worked at Rakuten as a Product Management Consultant, launching new Machine Learning products and streamlining operations. Alfonso'smost recent role was at NEM Group, where they served as a Senior Product Manager, developing the Symbol Wallet app and implementing interoperability and a web browser extension. Currently, Alfonso is an Investor and the first CPO at LIBEEN Smart Housing.
Alfonso Rocha attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2005 to 2010, where they studied Informática de Gestión. Alfonso did not obtain a degree during this period. In terms of additional certifications, Alfonso obtained the N4 レベル - 日本語能力試験 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) from The Japan Foundation in September 2020. Alfonso also completed the course "Introduction to Negotiation: A Strategic Playbook for Becoming a Principled and Persuasive Negotiator" on Coursera in April 2020, and the course "Financial Markets with Robert J. Shiller" on Coursera in May 2022.
